In a building, the roof is an essential and delicate component. It is continuously exposed to multiple weather events, including severe ones, which is why every component of the roof system must meet the highest quality requirements.
Covering for low-pitch roofs or for the redevelopment of existing brick-and-concrete roofs can be realised using sandwich panels with polyurethane insulation. On the uncorrugated side of the panel is a special facing designed and manufactured by Silcart. This support allows the construction of flat or low-pitch roofs of industrial buildings with the facing pointing upwards, as a support for waterproofing membranes. The panels are characterised by excellent waterproofing and high thermal insulation properties. An economical, quick to install and effective solution, often also used for renovations of existing roofs, but with the facing laid over the existing structure.
Synthetic Based Facing
The Synthetic Based Facing for polyurethane insulation panels can also be requested with a talc finish – suitable for flame installation or with a polypropylene non-woven finish for optimum walkability.
INSTALLATION
Polyurethane panels with our facing are suitable for flame and for self-adhesive installations. It is the ideal facing for panels intended for roof or floor insulation. The panel completed with this facing is also used for separating cold basements from heated residential spaces.
WASHABLE ANTI-CORROSION FACING
This is a flexible plastic backing designed for sandwich panels with excellent adhesion to polyurethane foam during the bonding process, and does not yellow. It is extremely resistant to attack from chemical substances commonly produced by vapour and condensation in places with high levels of salinity. The standard version is white, washable and hygienic.
INSTALLATION
For feedlot construction and the cold storage industry.
MINERAL SURFACE FACINGÂ
The mineral facing guarantees high performance, making it the standard in the insulation panel market. It satisfies the need for improving the dimensional stability of the panel, making it also more resistant to fire exposure, edge peeling and trampling.
INSTALLATION
This facing can be used to complete insulation panels for pitched, timber and flat roofs.
