The wall is the vertical architectural element that delimits the space of a building and supports structures such as floors and roofs. One of the possible solutions is the ventilated wall which, if designed with selected, certified and quality facing, will provide several benefits to the building in terms of energy saving, sound insulation, and fire protection.
VAPOUR BARRIER
Vapour barriers are defined as those impermeable, airtight elements whose function is to reduce the passage of vapour to minimise condensation inside the walls. The vapour barrier membrane is entirely composed of three polypropylene layers. Ultrasonic welding makes the material completely recyclable. It avoids unwanted moisture infiltration by regulating its flow into the thickness of the wall. UV-stabilised.
INSTALLATION
As protection, Silcart offers a vapour barrier that reduces the passage of moisture from inside the house to the outside environment, passing through the insulating layer.
BREATHABLE
Breathable synthetic underlays are defined as those elements that are water- and wind-proof and whose function is to let vapour from confined spaces pass through by means of diffusion.
The highly breathable undertile membrane is made entirely of three polypropylene layers welded with ultrasound technology. The absence of glues and other polymers makes the product highly recyclable and breathable. UV-stabilised.
INSTALLATION
The synthetic membrane that protects and lines the insulation allows for rapid dissipation of excess vapour through the ventilated wall, helping to maintain the thermal properties of the insulation layer.
Patrix
The Patrix facing consists of a glass-fibre core that provides mechanical strength and dimensional stability even at high temperatures, and a special facing that expands on contact with flames, creating a barrier that draws them away from the insulating foam. As a result, the spread of fire towards the core is slower.
INSTALLATION
It is a suitable support for thermal insulation boards for flat, pitched and ventilated roofs and walls. It is highly recommended for its specific properties: it enables synthetic insulation boards to achieve class B s1 D0 (reaction to fire). The special surface finish allows the product to be installed on roofs under photovoltaic panels or on ventilated facades.
MINERAL SURFACE FACING
The mineral facing guarantees high performance, making it the standard in the insulation panel market. It satisfies the need for improving the dimensional stability of the panel, making it also more resistant to fire exposure, edge peeling and trampling.
INSTALLATION
This facing can be used to finish polyurethane panels for walls.
